Students are still talking about the homecoming dance, especially since it’s been two weeks. From sharp suits to glittering dresses, the night was full of style, personality, and memories that will last long even after the music stopped.
All high school students (grades 9-12) grades were in attendance. “A moment in the dance that stood out to me was when all the grades got in a circle together and were actually having fun with each other instead of everyone in their own little group. Instead, we all came together as a whole,” said senior Emely Ramos.
Some students gave it their all with what they wore while some chose a more casual look and still looked stylish. Still others wore remarkable outfits that screamed confidence, creativity, and personality. “A lot of I think girls were wearing dresses, which was very nice. A lot of girls looked nice, but a lot of people were dressed up casually, like with jeans or a block,” said Emely Ramos.
Trends didn’t go unnoticed either. Many bold colors, sparkles, and creative accessories were everywhere. Emely personally shouted out one of her friends for standing out. “I’ll give it to Arlenis because her dress, that red, suits her and her hair and the heels. It was very nice on her, and I feel like she put herself together perfectly,” said Emely Ramos.
There was more to homecoming than just the outfits. Senior Razak Rashid said, “I personally liked it. A lot of high schoolers came together. Not a lot of opportunities come like this to have all the high schoolers in one space, having fun.” Many high school students had a fantastic chance to step outside their comfort zone, dance, socialize, and make lifelong memories.
When asked for advice on what to wear for the potential next homecoming dance for years to come, Razak said, “Come in your best fits. That’s all I got to say.” From the music to the outfits to the energy being put onto the dance floor, Homecoming 2025 wasn’t just a dance, but a celebration of the school’s spirit.
